An esthetician must have a state license to provide professional skin care services, such as microdermabrasion and facials to customers. Skin care training is required for estheticians to become eligible to take your licensing exams. Esthetics Institute and Spa prepares students for these exams.
What will I Learn?
School curriculum includes skin anatomy and physiology, skin analysis, chemical formulas of skin care products, makeup techniques, brow and lash tinting, massage, customer relations and temporary hair removal. Core subjects such a "The Healthy Professional", Infection Control, and Time Management are also included.
